We provide escort services for cross-country commercial carriers and currently escort approximately 40 to 60 cross-country transports weekly. Following a shipment for protection is considered guarding property and is a security function regulated by most states. We meet all regulatory requirements set by each state that is crossed. The service includes but is not limited to:

• Guarding property

• Preventing theft or loss

• Escorting or protecting valuables

• Providing deterrence through presence

Federal regulation at 28 CFR Part 105 confirms that states retain full authority to license private security officers and regulate the industry themselves. The service that we provide our clients is referred to as “escorted transport” or “protected shipments” that includes comprehensive site, route, and process audits uncovering vulnerabilities and reinforcing cargo security programs.

During the process we provide pick-up verification, real-time monitoring, escorts, and incident response for shipments in the U.S., Canada, and Mexico utilizing seasoned military and law enforcement teams safeguarding freight. While each state has its own statute, the pattern is consistent:

• physically accompanying a shipment to deter theft or ensure safe passage, you are performing a security function.

• the function is specifically for protection, not for driving or logistics.

• If carrying a weapon, armed-guard licensing almost always applies.
